The results show that compared with the non coal spiral separator, the coal spiral separator has smaller distance diameter ratio and more separation circles. It is mostly used in power coal preparation plants and coking coal preparation plants with good washability. At present, the coal spiral separator has some problems, such as high separation density, low processing capacity and lack of flexibility, The optimization of spiral sorter mainly includes two means: changing structural parameters and introducing external force. During the optimization, the structural parameters should be changed, and the characteristics of simple structure and no power parts of spiral sorter should be retained as far as possible.
